My films never win anything or even get to the finals round of anything!
I am quite happy about this! Totally not gonna win but this is still big!
Now I have to make like a million copies of the film like they asked :|

I have recently gotten swallowed up by looking for a place to live in Burbank. Trying to find time to do story work so I don’t go nuts, but it’s tough when I’m feeling the time crunch. So ready for this heat wave to end!
Just after a day or so, though, I am a little disgruntled about the prices at Society6 … I really just want to start off selling little, simple prints, postcard and bookmark-sized things, and I feel like these prices are more than what I would ordinarily expect to pay for such things. :\
Does anyone have suggestions for how to go about selling such smaller wares?
Bah, I have no notion of how to sell prints at all, so any support you could give me to help promote this would be GREATLY appreciated!

I was thinking of making some Kagemono prints (or, I don’t know, the designs are so simple I kinda want to make mug or T shirt designs out of them) and sketched out a few potential ideas!
Thoughts? Would anyone be interested in buying some Kagemono prints/designs?

The gallery nearest to my cube has the craziest Merida concept art, which always makes me want to put more personality and energy into my drawings! (which is…. kind of hard to do when you’re interning on sets…. which is in turn why I have been compensating lately with so much Jekyll and Hyde art)
Hyde is still incredibly hard for me to draw but every once in a while I manage to “feel” my way through a pose and get to something that catches his personality.
Also I have a headcanon where Jekyll accidentally created the Shadow Mouse in one of his earlier experiments. Hyde should … probably get out of there.

So yesterday Cat surprised me at dinner with these mindblowing gifts!
My jaw pretty much unhinged itself and I think I had to do a double take (especially because I have my own needlefelted version of the shadow-mouse). They are of course handmade accessories designed after the characters from my fourth-year film Kagemono!
The Beopup scarf is made by her friend Marie …
And the shadow mouse earrings are sculpted by Carling!
